Emmanuel e suas habilidades!

Este
menino maravilhoso se chama Emmanuel! Ele gosta de aprender sobre países,
identifica no mapa onde fica localizado cada país. Ele consegue explicar sobre
partes do corpo humano e suas funções!
O nome da
mãe de Emanuel é Zinia. Ela conta que ele tem várias habilidades. Entre estas
habilidades, Zinia destaca que seu filho identifica as bandeiras de
todos os países da América, Europa e alguns da Ásia. Ele conhece as tabuadas de
multiplicação até 6; todas as cores em espanhol e inglês, quais são as cores
primárias e secundárias.
Zinia diz
muito orgulhosa e feliz! “Meu filho identifica as maravilhas do mundo antigo e moderno.
Também reconhece os órgãos do corpo humano em atlas de anatomia. Grande
curiosidade por temas médicos como vírus, o funcionamento do corpo humano. Ele
até sabe quais são as células que o compõem”.
Zinia relata que: “A única dificuldade é que ele
não tolera bem a frustração, nem aceita ser ensinado se não pedir, porque gosta
de aprender sozinho”.
Eu, como Ph.D. em Educação e Especialista em
Educação Especial e Inclusiva afirmo que os superdotados gostam de ter
autonomia e de aprender a partir de suas áreas de interesse. Para lidar com a
frustração é importante que a família converse muito com a criança e
proporcione motivação para a realização de cada tarefa.
Como especialista percebo que Emmanuel apresenta
indicativos de superdotação relacionada à
percepção visual e espacial, à interpretação e criação de imagens visuais. Esta
inteligência possibilita as pessoas de entender melhor informações gráficas,
como mapas, por exemplo. Tal capacidade está presente em
profissionais, como: geógrafos, escultores, artistas, entre outras profissões.
Entre as personalidades que se destacaram com este tipo de capacidade, é
possível citar: Oscar Niemeyer, Marco Polo, Michelangelo, entre outros.
Em relação à inteligência lógico-matemática que ele apresenta, é
mais voltada às áreas baseadas na razão, está vinculada à capacidade
de ter pensamento lógico, detectar padrões, fazer cálculos e resolver problemas
abstratos. Ela pode ser exemplificada em personalidades famosas, como: Louis Pasteur,
Albert Einstein, Galieu Galilei, Isaac Newton, entre outras.
Quanto à capacidade linguística de
Emmanuel, se refere não apenas à capacidade oral, mas também a outras formas de
expressão, como a escrita ou de se comunicar por meio de gestos. As
profissões que apresentam esta habilidade são os poetas, advogados,
jornalistas, entre outras.
São muitas as habilidades que
Emmanuel apresenta!
Para a realização de um
diagnóstico acurado, recomendo que a família de Emmanuel busque ajuda de uma
equipe multidisciplinar quando ele tiver aproximadamente 6 anos de idade.
Infelizmente, Zinia relata que
onde ela vive em Cuba, não há escolas para ajudar quanto às habilidades de
Emmanuel. Neste caso, é importante que ela busque atendimento especializado no
local mais próximo à sua cidade.
Zinia já está disponibilizando a Emmanuel os materiais das áreas de interesse dele e percebe que ele se sente muito motivado e feliz. Eles interagem bastante! Ressalto que o ensino lúdico é fundamental para haver uma educação de qualidade. Afirmo que a interação social, a reciprocidade, a afetividade e criatividade são aspectos essenciais para o desenvolvimento pleno de cada criança.

This wonderful boy is Emmanuel! He
likes to learn about countries, identifies where each country is located on the
map. He can explain about parts of the human body and their functions!
Emanuel's mother's name is Zinia.
She says that he has several abilities. Among these abilities, Zinia points out
that her son identifies the flags of all countries in America, Europe and some
in Asia. He knows the multiplication tables up to 6; all colors in Spanish and
English, which are the primary and secondary colors.
Zinia is very proud and happy! She
says: “My son identifies the wonders of the ancient and modern world. He also
recognizes the organs of the human body in anatomy atlases. He hás great
curiosity about medical topics like viruses, the functioning of the human body.
He even knows what are the cells that make it up ”.
Zinia reports that: "The
only difficulty is that he does not tolerate frustration, nor he
accepts being taught if he does not ask, because he likes to learn by himself".
As a Ph.D. in Education and a
Specialist in Special and Inclusive Education, I affirm that gifted children
like to have autonomy and to learn from their areas of interest. To deal with
frustration, it is important that the family talks a lot with the child and
provides motivation to perform each task.
As a specialist, I notice that
Emmanuel presents indications of Giftedness related to visual and spatial
perception, interpretation and creation of visual images. This intelligence
enables people to better understand graphic information, such as maps, for
example. Such capacity is present in professionals, such as: geographers,
sculptors, artists, among other professions. Among the personalities that stood
out with this type of ability, it is possible to mention: Oscar Niemeyer, Marco
Polo, Michelangelo, among others.
In relation to the
logical-mathematical intelligence he presents, it is more focused on areas
based on reason, it is linked to the ability to have logical thinking, detect
patterns, make calculations and solve abstract problems. This ability can be
exemplified in famous personalities, such as: Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei,
Antoine Lavoisier, Louis Pasteur, Albert Einstein, among others.
As for Emmanuel's linguistic
ability, it refers not only to oral ability, but also to other forms of
expression, such as writing or communicating through gestures. The professions
that show this ability are poets, lawyers, journalists, among others.
There are many abilities that
Emmanuel has!
For an accurate diagnosis, I
recommend that Emmanuel's family seek help from a multidisciplinary team when
he is approximately 6 years old.
Unfortunately, Zinia reports that
where she lives in Cuba, there are no schools to help regarding Emmanuel's
abilities. In this case, it is important that she seek specialized care in the
location closest to her city.
Zinia is already making available
to Emmanuel the materials from his areas of interest and realizes that he feels
very motivated and happy. They interact a lot!
I emphasize that ludic education
is essential for quality education. I claim that social interaction,
reciprocity, affectivity and creativity are essential aspects for the full
development of each child.
