Biografias
Fernanda Hellen Ribeiro Piske
Globally respected expert in Giftedness,
Inclusive and Special Education. Her doctoral degree is in Cognition, Learning
and Human Development from Federal University of Parana. She completed
postgraduate studies in Special Education and Inclusive Education from the
International University Centre - Uninter. As a researcher and well-established
author in the field, Dr. Piske has 1st authored and/or edited many gifted and
talent development books on topics including, but not limited to: Twice
Exceptionality, Autism, Creativity, Social-Emotional Development, Affectivity,
Bullying, Teacher Training, Complexity Theory and Human Rights. As a visionary
leader in the field, her published work is uniquely positioned as she
effectively coordinates the collaborative research and writing efforts of
experts from around the world from several countries. Dr. Piske has been giving
lectures on Gifted Education and Twice Exceptionality at congresses and events.
She is the founder and president of Institute
C&S – Criatividade & Superdotação in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
Vera Lucia Messias Fialho Capellini
Professora Pesquisadora Produtividade (CNPQ-2019-2021). Graduada
em Pedagogia pela Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (1991), Mestrado (2001)
e Doutorado (2004) em Educação Especial pela Universidade Federal de São
Carlos. Realizou em 2012 Pós-Doutorado na Universidade de Alcalá- Espanha, a
partir do qual defendeu sua Livre docência em Educação Inclusiva em 2014.
Profa. Adjunto do Depto de Educação, do Programa de Pós-graduação em Psicologia
do Desenvolvimento e Aprendizagem e do Programa de Mestrado Profissional em
Docência para a Educação Básica, da FC/ UNESP- Bauru. Diretora da Faculdade de
Ciências - FC/UNESP-Bauru (2021-2025). Tem experiência na área de Educação, com
ênfase em formação inicial e continuada de professores, prática de ensino,
inclusão escolar e avaliação educacional. Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa: A
inclusão da pessoa com deficiência, TGD e superdotação e os contextos de
aprendizagem e desenvolvimento. É membro do Observatório Internacional de
Inclusão, Interculturalidade e Inovação pedagógica (OIIIIPe); ambos cadastrados
no CNPQ. Presidente da comissão organizadora do I,II,III,IV e V Congresso
Brasileiro de Educação da UNESP de Bauru. Coordenou o Curso de Aperfeiçoamento
em Práticas Educacionais Inclusivas em parceria com o Ministério da Educação de
2008 a 2013. Coordenou seis cursos de Especialização da Educação Especial do
Redefor, em parceria com SEE/SP e com a SME/SP. Foi Presidente da Associação
Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Educação Especial- ABPEE (2017-2021) e

Jennifer Groman
Assistant Professor, Talent Development Program
Joined Ashland University in 2017 after being a K-8 teacher and
working over a 30-year span as a general education teacher, Title I reading and
math and Gifted Interventional Specialist in Ohio, Georgia, Florida and
Caithness, Scotland.
Her areas of research include Gifted and Teacher Education,
Creativity, Arts-Infused Practice and Transpersonal Psychology
She has experience working in Arts Administration in Ashland and
Mansfield, and working as a Gifted Consultant for the Ohio Department of
Education for four years as part of the I-GET-GTEd Ohio Javits Grant Project
She was the Assistant Director of the Ashland University Summer
Honors Institute for the Gifted (formerly the Governor’s Institute) for 12
years. She was an adjunct for the College of Education from 2000 and was twice
awarded as a Professional Fellow. She is a singer/songwriter with 4
self-published CDs of original songs.
Joseph Renzulli
Distinguished Professor at the University of Connecticut. His
research and practical applications of his major theories have focused on total
school improvement by using student strengths and interests to promote
increased achievement and high levels of enjoyment and engagement in learning.
His books and articles have been translated into several languages and his work
is widely used around the world. In 2022 he was voted # 3
among World's Top 30 Education Professionals.
