O especialista Alberto
Rocha explica que a Associação Nacional para o Estudo e a Intervenção na
Sobredotação (ANEIS) foi criada em Dezembro de 1998 por iniciativa de
professores, psicólogos e estudantes. Progressivamente, desenvolve e presta
apoios a crianças e jovens com características de sobredotação e a suas
famílias, nas múltiplas áreas de capacidade e atividade humana – intelectual,
motor, académico, social, artístico, mecânico e emocional – tendo em vista o
desenvolvimento integral, a melhoria da qualidade de vida e a inclusão social e
escolar.
Alberto Rocha ressalta que a abrangência e
necessidades sentidas pelas existentes 9 delegações, prevê a adesão de novas
delegações no território nacional, bem como, a crescente identificação de casos
de sobredotação em escolas, por profissionais de psicologia e/ou mesmo pelos
encarregados de educação.
Alberto Rocha Salienta que a
ANEIS desenvolve e presta apoios a crianças e jovens com características de
sobredotação e a suas famílias, nas múltiplas áreas de capacidade e atividade
humana – intelectual, motor, académico, social, artístico, mecânico e emocional
– tendo em vista o desenvolvimento integral, a melhoria da qualidade de vida e
a inclusão social e escolar.
Objectivos da ANEIS:
Estes serviços são
colocados ao dispor da população através de:
A. Centro de
atividades de tempos livres;
B. Centro de apoio
familiar e aconselhamento parental;
C. Intervenção precoce;
D. Centro de
atendimento/acompanhamento psicossocial;
E. Centro de férias e
lazer.
Além disso tem por
objecto o estudo e intervenção no campo da sobredotação, realizando para este
efeito diversas atividades nomeadamente:
1. Sensibilização da
opinião pública e da população em geral;
2. Implementação de
programas de enriquecimento e atividades lúdicas/lazer;
3. Consulta
psico-educacional de crianças e jovens;
4. Consultadoria junto
de instituições e pessoas singulares;
5. Realização de
estudos e emissão de pareceres na área;
6. Concepção e
validação de instrumentos para a identificação e atendimento de crianças e
jovens com características de sobredotação e talento;
7. Formação e
aconselhamento dos técnicos de educação e famílias;
8. Edição de material
bibliográfico ou instrumentos de trabalho;
9. Criação de
estruturas e equipamentos adequados à intervenção nos diferentes domínios de
apoio.

Specialist Alberto Rocha explains that the National
Association for the Study and Intervention in Giftedness (ANEIS) was created in
December 1998 at the initiative of teachers, psychologists and students.
Progressively, it develops and supports children and young people with gifted
characteristics and their families, in the multiple areas of human capacity and
activity - intellectual, motor, academic, social, artistic, mechanical and
emotional - with a view to integral development, improving the quality of life
and social and school inclusion.
Alberto Rocha points out that the scope and needs
felt by the existing 9 delegations, foresees the adhesion of new delegations in
the national territory, as well as, the increasing identification of cases of
giftedness in schools, by psychology professionals and / or even by the
parents.
Alberto Rocha Stresses that ANEIS develops and
supports children and young people with gifted characteristics and their
families, in the multiple areas of human capacity and activity - intellectual,
motor, academic, social, artistic, mechanical and emotional - in view of the
integral development, improving the quality of life and social and school
inclusion.
Aims of ANEIS:
These services are made available to the population
through:
A. Leisure activities center;
B. Family support and parental counseling center;
C. Early intervention;
D. Psychosocial care / monitoring center;
E. Vacation and leisure center.
In addition, it aims at the study and
intervention in the field of giftedness, carrying out for this purpose several
activities namely:
1. Sensitization of public opinion and
the population in general;
2. Implementation of enrichment
programs and recreational / leisure activities;
3. Psycho-educational consultation of
children and young people;
4. Consultancy with institutions and
individuals;
5. Conducting studies and issuing
opinions in the area;
6. Design and validation of instruments
for the identification and care of children and young people with gifted and
talented characteristics;
7. Training and counseling of education
technicians and families;
8. Edition of bibliographic material or
work tools;
9. Creation of structures and equipment
suitable for intervention in different support areas.
The association is legally established,
having a history of intervention since 1998. Its scope and needs felt by the
various delegations, with the provision of new delegations joining the national
territory, as well as the growing identification of cases of giftedness in
schools, by professionals psychology and / or even by parents.
